The 14th February is Sorrento it is not only Valentine's Day!!!

On this day all around the town people celebrate St Anthony; the Patron Saint of Sorrento.

He died on the 14th Feb. in 265 a.c.

Words are not enough to describe how much this local feast is truly felt: the celebration

is proceded by a novena beginning on the 5th Feb with the tolling of church bells that advice the

people of Sorrento that the feast is soon to be as a result, also the coming of spring.
