“Felt like a part of the family!” Amazing family owned B & B! My husband and I stayed for 2 nights in May and loved our time in Sorrento. Sorry for the late review!! For starter, it's in a great location. We were able to walk from the station with our luggage very easily. We arrived on a hot day and unfortunately the train to Sorrento was probably the worst one we were on in all of Italy. It was an older train, full of people and very hot!! But don't worry, it'll be worth it once you get there! Luckily we were greeted by an amazing mobile Granita stand outside of the train station and enjoyed 2 of the best lemon granita's we had throughout our entire trip! The hotel was about a 10 min walk away and had great views! Silvana was so lovely throughout our stay there!! She showed us to our beautiful room and we were blown away. We got the excelsior room and it was well worth it! 2 balconies, a round bed, a fruit basket and champagne! Both the room and bathroom were very clean. Breakfast was great, the brioche were the best, brought to us in the morning and we would enjoy it on the balcony with a gorgeous view! Silvana helped us with dinner reservations and a boat ride to Capri!!! Dinner at La Basilica was amazing, the food was great, we enjoyed it outside and met Antonio! He sang us lovely Italian songs with his guitar and even got my husband to play a little too! He is a musician as well and they really hit it off! It was a very romantic night and was very easy to walk around and get back to the hotel easily. The boat ride to Capri was gorgeous, highly recommend it!! We had decided to go to Pompeii before heading to Sicily, we had already checked out and didn't want to lug our stuff around. Silvana was awesome and so gracious to let us leave our luggage while enjoying the day our Pompeii. We went back, found our things safe and sound and left for Naples to catch our overnight ferry to Sicily! We loved our time in Sorrento and wished we could have stayed longer!!— da Whitby, Canada, il 11/gen/2015
“Great And confy room with friendly staff” We spent 3 nights in this clean, confy and warm bb. We had the corner room, the staff brought us delicious breakfast every morning. The owner is very sweet and helpful. It's located right in the main square.— da Houston, il 02/gen/2015
“Our home in Sorrento” Right in front of Piazza Tasso, we found this cozy, familiar B&B. Silvana was a great help in reserving and greeting us when we arrived, she also gave us excellent tips for our stay in Sorrento and was worried about making our stay comfortable. The room had beautiful details such as the floors, and curtains, it was decorated with good taste. Both the room and bathroom were clean enough to meet our demanding cleaning requirements. We received enough sun and air coming from the balcony, overviewing Piazza Tasso. Great location near coffee shops, supermarkets, the Sita and Circumvesubiana stations. Breakfast was served in the room,--no breakfast room--but it was delicious, very complete. Need to stand out the brioches. Good security, two keys to come in from the street and no way to get to the room without it. Will surely recommend it and will stay here again, we preferred this accesibility than a sea view.— da Città del Guatemala,, il 22/dic/2014
The PERFECT place to stay in Sorrento! We stayed at Piazza Tasso for six nights. Plenty of time to appreciate the location, room and hospitality provided by Silvana. Silvana helped us on a daily basis with places to visit in and around Sorrento. Without exception her advice was spot on for restaurants, sightseeing and modes of transportation. We enjoyed a fabulous breakfast on the balcony of our room each morning and a glass of Italian wine every night while we watched the action taking place in the Piazza. The location is perfect! Close to the train station (which is also the bus station), the harbor and smack in the center of town. The attention we received from Silvana and her staff was greatly appreciated. Our favorite spot to dine was a small family owned (the Fisherman's Family) and operated (by Anna) at Marina Grande near the end of the pier. Well worth the walk! We would not consider staying anywhere else in Sorrento now that we have been spoiled by Silvana and Piazza Tasso.— da Seatle, WA, il 15/nov/2014
