“A Sorrentine” Sorrento is our favourite Italian Coastal resort and we have stayed there many times.It is essential to be close to the centre of the town as it is in the Piazza Tasso that the bus stop to the port is situated if one wishes to go to Capri, Positano,Ischia and Amalfi by boat.From the Piazza radiate all the quaint streets and lane ways to allow browsing and eating the local food and wines. It is a short walk to catch the Circumvensia train to visit Pompeii and Naples.Here in the PizzaTasso is the Piazza Tasso B&B owned by Jury and Silvana.It is the perfect place to stay- large clean rooms with balconies overlooking the busy and beautiful square or the magic blue sea.On arrival my wife's sunglasses were broken - in less than 5 minutes Jury retuned with them in perfect order. A generous breakfast is served either on the balcony or in the room.Our room had a large romantic round bed and with the large balcony doors closed gave a quiet night's sleep. Silvana and Jury who are the most charming hosts will direct you to the best retaurants in Sorrento and along the coast. Piazza Tasso is the ideal placr to stay in Sorrento for a short or long vacation and your stay will make beautiful Sorrento even more enjoyable.

Camere bellissime e curatissime che si affacciano in una delle piazze più belle d'Italia, colazione ottima gustata sui balconcini panoramici e infinita disponibilità e cortesia dei titolari pronti a soddisfare qualunque richiesta!

— da West Hollywood - California, il 01/lug/2014We are a group of 4 friends and enjoyed an incredible stay with Silvana who even called my handphone to check on our arrival and gave us instructions to get to her B&B. The room was spacious and we enjoyed the balcony, just looking at traffic and people passing by while eating breakfast and relaxing at the end of the day. There is no noise to be heard once you close the balcony doors (there are 2 of them) - it's like we're vacuum packed from the outside sounds and we had a fantastic sleep in total darkness too. It is convenient to everything - the train station, the shops, the Marina Piccolo - walking back from there to the B&B was a stimulating adventure - we enjoyed the view, the shopkeepers who were warm and frendly- everything about Sorrento is just beautiful. It was a great start to our holiday and Silvana went the extra mile to ensure that we were comfortable. She even helped us to book train tickets when we had trouble doing so. When I read the reviews I was expecting an elderly and matronly lady who welcomes people with lavish Southern Italian hospitality, but although she embodies the characteristic southern Italian welcome, she is petite, young and pretty. I'll definitely stay here again for my next Italian adventure.
