Our room was large, on the top floor and had two balconies facing different directions right on the corner: 1 the Piazza Tasso and the other facing a slice of the sea. We were a bit concerned about the noise but not to worry! There are 3 sets of soundblockers: 1: outside shutters close for light and noise, 2. Interior solid shutters, 3. Glass doors. Once these 3 are all closed - you could hear a pin drop even during the party hours in the square. The AC worked great and the room had nice high ceilings. We were not partial to the round bed, even though comfy, just a bit hard to get used to. Keep in mind the balconies are part of a historic view so it was important to keep them neat and organized. The area is very safe and is secured street level by a large locked gate. The owner was very helpful in recommending and happy to help with whatever our needs might be. We stayed 4 nights and would stay again.
